Chapter 38: There’s a Five-Minute Video
Getting an unfamiliar ring was the same as getting a brand-new toy.
Meng Weiyu excitedly raised the ring in his hand and examined its style. In truth, he had no reason to doubt it. Shen Zhoudu did not have many requirements when it came to accessories. When buying such things, he would only choose according to Meng Weiyu’s tastes. Although Meng Weiyu was someone whose mind changed often, his aesthetic had always had a stable direction.
So the ring in his hand completely matched his aesthetic and preferences.
Even without the layer of meaning that came with it being a wedding ring, using it as an ordinary accessory would also be no problem.
Meng Weiyu placed the ring on his thumb and, with a burst of force, mischievously flicked the ring upward.
The ring spun in the air.
“All right, don’t play with the ring.” A hand stretched out from beside him, moved sideways, and caught the ring.
Meng Weiyu abruptly turned his head.
Shen Zhoudu had just been cleaning the table. He had not even taken off his apron when he saw Meng Weiyu playing with the ring in that frivolous manner, looking as if he did not cherish things at all.
Meng Weiyu grinned. He truly had not even the slightest bit of pity for external objects. He asked, “Do you like the ring? Even if it gets lost, it doesn’t matter. I can buy a new one with you.”
He thought this was a way of showing concern for Shen Zhoudu.
Shen Zhoudu looked at him, not knowing how to correct this personality of his. In the end, he could only sigh, then hold up Meng Weiyu’s left hand and solemnly put the ring on his ring finger.
“This one can’t be bought again.” Shen Zhoudu could only use a way of speaking that Meng Weiyu could understand to make him cherish this ring. “Because it was custom-made, and it’s the work of a designer you like. He’s already retired now. No matter how much money you offer, you can’t invite him anymore, so you have to take care of it.”
“He retired?” Meng Weiyu was shocked.
“He retired. That designer is almost seventy this year. Our rings were designed during the final year of his career.”
Meng Weiyu was heartbroken. Looking at the ring on his ring finger, he no longer dared to toss it around blindly.
Seeing this, Shen Zhoudu deeply felt that his road of education was long and complicated.
After making sure Meng Weiyu would not do anything else to the rings that were important to them, Shen Zhoudu got up and went to the kitchen to put things away.
Meng Weiyu listened to the sounds coming from the kitchen. Belatedly, he climbed up from the floor and pushed open the kitchen door.
“What’s wrong? Do you need something?” Shen Zhoudu happened to be taking off his apron.
“I suddenly… wanted to ask if there’s anything I can help with?” Meng Weiyu guiltily turned his head aside. Only now did he realize that in this house, he truly did not engage in any productive labor.
Shen Zhoudu shook his head.
Seeing that Shen Zhoudu was about to walk out, Meng Weiyu took a step back and made way for him.
“Meng Weiyu, the weather is about to change,” Shen Zhoudu told him.
“I spend all day with my legs propped up. Other than playing with the cat, I sleep. Isn’t that not very good?” Meng Weiyu had a conscience. He proudly patted his chest.
“Go work at your own company next week.” Shen Zhoudu arranged work for him.
“Fine.” Compared to seventeen-year-old Meng Weiyu, twenty-year-old Meng Weiyu still had a little more confidence. After all, at this age, he had already started following his grandfather to do some things. “But while I’m here, don’t I need to do something? Wash dishes or something?”
“There’s a dishwasher at home.” Shen Zhoudu had only organized the bowls and chopsticks earlier and put them into the machine.
“Cleaning the table or something.” Meng Weiyu continued suggesting.
“If you had said that ten minutes earlier, I would have let you clean it.” Shen Zhoudu walked to the fridge, opened it, and took out a bottle of sparkling water.
“Then what exactly should I do?” Meng Weiyu followed behind him, filled with the anxiety of an idle person with nothing to do.
Shen Zhoudu looked at him and decided to satisfy his wish by finding something for him to do. He handed over the sparkling water in his hand.
“I’m not thirsty,” Meng Weiyu said.
“Open it for me,” Shen Zhoudu told him.
“Oh, okay.” Meng Weiyu obediently took the sparkling water, opened it for him, and handed it back.
“Thanks. That’s your work for today.” Shen Zhoudu lightly patted the back of Meng Weiyu’s head and took the water away.
“Hey!” Meng Weiyu felt like he had been fooled and flew into a rage.
“I do housework because I already like organizing things.” Shen Zhoudu raised his head to drink water and walked toward the sofa. “As for you, you were already the type who grew up with your legs propped up, doing nothing.”
With their family backgrounds, they had more than enough conditions to truly ignore household chores entirely if they did not want to care about them. Meng Weiyu did exactly that. When Shen Zhoudu was home, he would let Uncle Wang stay away and handle the housework himself.
First, because he already liked and was used to doing housework.
Second, because if he took responsibility for two days of housework, he could be alone with Meng Weiyu.
Shen Zhoudu’s thoughts were that simple. In particular, he liked being alone with Meng Weiyu.
Thinking of this embarrassing point, Shen Zhoudu sat back on the sofa and used the act of drinking water to cover up his shyness.
“But!” Meng Weiyu’s face suddenly forced itself in front of his eyes.
Shen Zhoudu had been thinking about this person, and then this person suddenly appeared before him, startling him so badly that the sparkling water in his hand shook inside the can, letting out the refreshing sound unique to carbonated water.
“I feel guilty!” That was what Meng Weiyu thought. In the past, he indeed did not do housework, but now it was different. The two of them were married. Shen Zhoudu had to busy himself at home while he did nothing. If he had even a little conscience, he would feel uneasy.
“Don’t feel guilty,” Shen Zhoudu said.
“My conscience is uneasy!”
“Don’t let your conscience be uneasy.”
“Then I’ll kiss you…”
“Don’t kiss—cough, cough.”
Shen Zhoudu, who had instinctively used the same sentence pattern to refuse, finally turned his brain around and understood what Meng Weiyu had said.
Meng Weiyu sat beside him, tugged Shen Zhoudu’s sleeve with his hand, and leaned closer.
“Don’t tell me you’re trying to mess with me again.” Shen Zhoudu was a little afraid. Clearly, this was not the first time he had suffered greatly from this.
“Selling my looks so I can continue living in this house.” Meng Weiyu’s thoughts turned very quickly. Shen Zhoudu was not short of money. If Meng Weiyu did housework, there was a high chance he would mess things up. After thinking it over, aside from coveting his beauty, Shen Zhoudu probably had no other demands.
Hearing this, Shen Zhoudu swallowed. His Adam’s apple moved obviously. His light-blue eyes showed desire as he turned to look at Meng Weiyu, then quickly turned back again.
“Forget it.” Unexpectedly, Shen Zhoudu rejected Meng Weiyu.
“What do you mean?” Meng Weiyu excitedly moved closer, grabbing his sleeves with both hands and pulling him toward himself.
“I just feel… it’s a little scary.” If Shen Zhoudu did not have exceptional mental strength, he would already be covered in cold sweat right now. He could not understand why Meng Weiyu had been shrieking at him not long ago, but now wanted to kiss him at every turn. “Either your brain is broken, or my brain is broken.”
His guess was correct. Meng Weiyu’s head indeed had some problems right now. He had already remembered his memories from when he was twenty, so naturally, he was not as resistant to Shen Zhoudu as before. Moreover, he also remembered that teasing Shen Zhoudu was a very interesting thing.
Because he had never seen someone who could not resist his temptation in his heart, yet was so proper that his body wanted to refuse him.
“This universe’s number-one invincible handsome guy wants to kiss you, so why are you acting all coy?” Meng Weiyu forcefully tugged at his sleeve.
Shen Zhoudu felt even more that something was wrong. He stretched out his other hand and blocked the space between them. “No need. You already kissed my face earlier. I’m deeply grateful. I can reminisce about it myself for three days.”
“I’ll kiss the other side!”
“Really, no need. Thank you, really.” Shen Zhoudu now looked like he was resisting someone handing out little street advertisements, helpless and afraid.
Meng Weiyu hardened his heart and said, “Then I’ll kiss your mouth!”
Hearing this, Shen Zhoudu quickly turned his head.
“I despise you.” Meng Weiyu pointed his thumb downward.
Shen Zhoudu knew it was a trap.
While they were messing around, Ning Wu replied to Shen Zhoudu’s message. They decided to hold an outdoor barbecue at the villa in the suburbs. When the time came, they would bring tools and ingredients. Shen Zhoudu and Meng Weiyu only needed to tidy up the house and clear some space.
After receiving the message, Shen Zhoudu immediately called someone to clean up the place.
While Shen Zhoudu was typing on his phone, Meng Weiyu placed his chin on Shen Zhoudu’s shoulder. From time to time, he openly looked at Shen Zhoudu’s phone screen. From time to time, he raised his head and stared at Shen Zhoudu, who was close at hand.
Shen Zhoudu’s skin is so nice.
Shen Zhoudu lowered his head and sent messages, trying hard to ignore the presence of the person beside him.
Meng Weiyu leaned even closer, his eyes looking at his phone screen.
“Do you want a phone that badly?” Shen Zhoudu tried to guess Meng Weiyu’s meaning from a non-romantic angle.
Meng Weiyu smiled and stretched out his hand toward him, though he did not expect Shen Zhoudu to actually give him the phone.
Shen Zhoudu looked at him and hesitantly handed the phone over.
“Heh.” Meng Weiyu opened his phone and inspected it.
The phone screen was his selfie. Pass.
Very good. Shen Zhoudu’s note for him was Little Clingy Fish. That was not a big problem.
Opening the avatar, Shen Zhoudu and Meng Weiyu’s chat background was still his selfie.
“Hmm…” Why were they all his selfies? Where were their couple photos?
“Satisfied?” Shen Zhoudu asked him.
“Let me look at the photo album.” Meng Weiyu was suspicious.
When Shen Zhoudu heard this sentence, his eyes instantly widened. His eyes were quick and his hands fast as he tried to snatch the phone back from Meng Weiyu’s hand.
“Oh ho!” Meng Weiyu raised his arm to avoid his hand. Then he narrowed his eyes and glanced at the person beside him, revealing a crafty smile like a fox. “Looks like I found the key place. How many strange men are in the photo album? Speak!”
“It’s not what you think.” Shen Zhoudu wanted to take the phone back.
“I won’t.” Meng Weiyu got up and ran. As he quickly walked away, he opened the phone album.
Shen Zhoudu was not in a hurry to catch up, because he knew Meng Weiyu would return the phone to him.
Meng Weiyu ran a bit farther away, a mischievous smile on his face as he opened the phone album. He looked at it and petrified.
“I told you not to look.” Shen Zhoudu angrily stretched out his hand and waved it at him. “Give it back.”
“Disgusting, disgusting. Very disgusting.” Meng Weiyu quickly swiped across the screen. Inside were all photos that, if released, would make him unable to remain human. “Delete them.”
“Deleting them from the phone album is useless. There are backups elsewhere, so hurry and give my phone back.” Shen Zhoudu waved his hand again, signaling Meng Weiyu to return his phone quickly.
“There’s a problem.” Meng Weiyu stared at the screen, his black eyes reflecting the phone’s light.
Shen Zhoudu said unconcernedly, “I’ve been married to you for years. Having a few explicit photos of you isn’t really a problem.”
“The problem I’m talking about is the newest photo.” Meng Weiyu opened the photo, walked forward, and shoved it in front of Shen Zhoudu. “This is my recent hairstyle, right?”
Shen Zhoudu secretly took a photo of him!
In the photo, Meng Weiyu had the hair he had only cut short the day before yesterday. He was sleeping on the sofa, his clothes rolled upward, revealing his stomach.
His expression was really ugly enough.
Meng Weiyu truly wanted to delete it angrily. What did Shen Zhoudu mean? Did he take his ugly photo to threaten him?
Shen Zhoudu’s gaze drifted. He said, “I choose to remain silent.”
Meng Weiyu slapped the phone against his chest.
Shen Zhoudu silently caught it.
“Speaking of which, I have many things I want to ask you.” Meng Weiyu coughed and suddenly felt embarrassed.
“Go ahead.” After taking back the phone, Shen Zhoudu first opened the album with distrust, made sure the total number had not decreased, and then calmly placed the phone aside.
Meng Weiyu placed both hands on the sofa, frowned, and leaned closer to Shen Zhoudu. “Why are there so many unsuitable-for-minors little videos in my phone album?”
Shen Zhoudu had no way to answer this question.
“Really very unsuitable.” Meng Weiyu wanted to advise him to be cautious.
“Did you click them open and watch?” Shen Zhoudu changed the subject.
Hearing this question, Meng Weiyu immediately sprang up and loudly shouted, trying to cover things up. “Who… who would watch that? I didn’t need to click them open. I only swept a glance before. Anyone with normal intelligence can guess what’s inside, right?”
“Meng Weiyu.” Shen Zhoudu wanted to end this topic as soon as possible.
“What?” Meng Weiyu’s face was red. He raised his hand to block his face.
Shen Zhoudu had no choice but to state a fact about him. “You’re very lewd.”
So do not ask him any more questions related to sex.
“Nonsense!” Meng Weiyu stretched out a finger and pointed at Shen Zhoudu. Not only did his pitch rise, his voice even cracked. “Nonsense!”
He shouted until the end, and in order to prevent Shen Zhoudu from refuting him, he turned and ran upstairs.
“At 10:30, I’ll drive to the suburbs. Come down early,” Shen Zhoudu told him.
“Even if I’m very lewd!” After running upstairs, Meng Weiyu’s courage rose with the height. He loudly shouted from the room doorway, “I still wouldn’t mess around with a man!”
Following his movement, Shen Zhoudu also stretched out a finger and pointed at himself.
Meng Weiyu ignored the fact that both of their phones held evidence and slammed the door into his room.
Shen Zhoudu smiled and shook his head, thinking this matter had ended there. But less than two minutes later, Meng Weiyu, who was upstairs, sent him a message.
Little Clingy Fish: Liar! You’re a liar!
Upstairs, Meng Weiyu was still preparing to continue attacking and curse Shen Zhoudu to death, but Shen Zhoudu sent a photo first.
The image was a screenshot from a video. It was not very clear, but one could see Meng Weiyu trying to pull off Shen Zhoudu’s pants. Meng Weiyu was smiling very brightly, and the scene was still considered healthy. Only Shen Zhoudu’s expression was overly panicked.
In the picture, who the pervert was could be seen at a glance.
Meng Weiyu grabbed his face, doubting his life.
No. Xiao Yu isn’t lewd.
It was precisely because he had no thoughts of that kind toward most people that so many people could safely associate with him.
Meng Weiyu grabbed his hair and, in disbelief, opened his own album. He did not dare casually click open any video, but he used great courage to roughly scan through the thumbnails.
“Meng Weiyu, why did you record so many videos?” Meng Weiyu cursed himself. Then, among the many pale, fleshy videos, he found a video thumbnail where at least the two of them had their clothes on.
Although that video’s duration was very strange. It was a full five minutes long.
Meng Weiyu deceived himself by covering his eyes with one hand. Then he opened his fingers, looked at the phone through the gaps, and tremblingly tapped open the video.
The video started playing, and the first line that came out nearly made Meng Weiyu faint.
“Come kiss me!” Meng Weiyu’s righteous voice came from inside.
“You just drank medicine, right? Don’t come closer.” Shen Zhoudu pushed his face.
Meng Weiyu, watching the video, really wanted to ask: Whether he had memories or not, wasn’t Shen Zhoudu’s attitude the same?
“Hurry up and kiss me!” Meng Weiyu was completely unreasonable. “If you don’t kiss me, I’ll go kiss someone else!”
Hearing this, Shen Zhoudu helplessly turned his head. His face faced the camera. Then his hand reached toward the side and pulled Meng Weiyu’s neck over.
The phone fell onto the sofa, and the image froze on the sofa backrest.
The heart-racing sounds of kissing were fully recorded.
Meng Weiyu listened with a red face for a while, then discovered that the sound seemed endless. He dragged the progress bar. For three minutes, it was all this image and basically this sound.
When the video was almost over, one hand picked up the phone again and filmed in a certain direction.
“Ugh.” Shen Zhoudu was squatting beside a trash can, dry-heaving.
This was the scene Meng Weiyu had really wanted to film.
“The medicine taste is so disgusting…” Shen Zhoudu could not accept the flavor.
After finishing the video, Meng Weiyu reached out and touched his dry lips.
“Wu, my first kiss is gone.”
At the appointed time, Meng Weiyu slowly came downstairs.
It was a rare weekend when he did not have to work, and he was eating with friends too, so Shen Zhoudu was wearing rare casual clothes today. When he saw Meng Weiyu, who was dressed just as simply and plainly, he smiled and asked, “Why aren’t you wearing that flashy shirt of yours?”
“I myself am already flashy. I don’t need clothes to set me off.” Meng Weiyu told him to keep a low profile.
“As you like.” Shen Zhoudu picked up the keys from the table.
“Are you driving?” Meng Weiyu revealed an untrusting expression.
“My skills are very good.” Shen Zhoudu told him to relax.
“What skills?” Meng Weiyu, who had just watched the video not long ago, suddenly judged others by himself and felt that Shen Zhoudu was teasing him.
“Driving skills,” Shen Zhoudu added.
Meng Weiyu’s body instantly bounced backward, a suspicious blush on his face.
Shen Zhoudu: “…”
He had long known Meng Weiyu was strange, but after he lost his memory, that strangeness had only increased. Moreover, in the past, Meng Weiyu’s strangeness could more or less be estimated. Now, Shen Zhoudu truly could not guess when he would become inexplicable because of what matter or what words.
When they reached the garage, Meng Weiyu instinctively went to open the back-seat door.
“You really need teaching. Your husband is driving. Why are you sitting in the back?” Shen Zhoudu opened the front passenger door. “Get in.”
Meng Weiyu reluctantly went to the front passenger seat.
Shen Zhoudu closed the door.
Meng Weiyu was worried that Shen Zhoudu, with his many schemes, would use helping him fasten his seatbelt as an excuse to get close to him. So as soon as he sat down, he quickly fastened the seatbelt himself.
His behavior made Shen Zhoudu inexplicably angry. “My driving skills aren’t that bad.”
“I know.” Meng Weiyu had sat in a car driven by him before.
“If you know, then why are you acting so terrified?” Shen Zhoudu said angrily. “I’m just letting you sit in a car I drive, not making you play an extreme sport.”
“Don’t bother with me. Just drive your car.” Meng Weiyu discovered that Shen Zhoudu’s self-esteem was in strange places.
Shen Zhoudu started the car and turned the steering wheel to drive out.
The suburban villa was the place Ning Wu had previously sent Meng Weiyu to.
When Shen Zhoudu drove there and got out of the car, not long after, a familiar car entered through the gate.
The person sitting in the driver’s seat was Xiao Jialu, who had her usual cold face. Ning Wu sat in the front passenger seat, rolled down the window, and excitedly waved at the two of them.
“You’re driving?” Meng Weiyu looked at Xiao Jialu in surprise.
“Ning Wu’s driving skills are too terrible,” Xiao Jialu stated expressionlessly. “I don’t want to finally go out for once and still get carsick.”
“Ahahahaha, wife, you really love joking.” Ning Wu placed his hand on Xiao Jialu’s shoulder and laughed cheerfully.
Xiao Jialu did not smile.
If Meng Weiyu had not known clearly that they were indeed married, he simply would not have dared believe this man and woman were husband and wife.
According to their original plan, they were going to barbecue outside the house.
Uncle Wang had long prepared the tools and had even prepared most of the ingredients. The only thing they needed to do was place the food over the charcoal fire.
Even with such simple work, Ning Wu and Meng Weiyu tilted their heads together and went “Ah,” not knowing where to begin.
The two of them were both bad at it but addicted to trying. After they knocked over the pepper powder, Xiao Jialu and Shen Zhoudu chased them away.
Outdoors, the charcoal fire burned, and Shen Zhoudu and Xiao Jialu grilled meat with crisp, efficient movements. Meng Weiyu and Ning Wu stayed inside the house, enjoying the air conditioning. Sitting on the sofa, they admired the barbecue activity outside.
“Who exactly suggested grilling our own meat?” Meng Weiyu was getting a bit angry.
“It was me.” Ning Wu sat together with Meng Weiyu, one hand draped over his shoulder, and guiltily admitted it.
“Then go help.” Meng Weiyu frowned, unable to understand the person beside him.
Ning Wu did want to help, but Xiao Jialu’s corpse-watching gaze had intimidated him, so his footsteps had quickly fled.
The two of them picked up the iced lemon water beside them, clinked cups, and each guiltily drank their drinks.
“My wife really is too capable.” Ning Wu looked in satisfaction at Xiao Jialu, who had one hand on her waist and was flipping meat with an unhappy expression.
“Weren’t you two arguing before?” Meng Weiyu looked at Ning Wu with contempt.
“Fights start at the head of the bed and end at the foot of the bed. How can husband and wife have overnight grudges?” Ning Wu said righteously.
Meng Weiyu looked down on him even more. Honestly, no matter how one looked at Ning Wu and Xiao Jialu, they did not seem matched.
“Speaking of which.” Meng Weiyu looked at the two people cooperating outside and noticed something. “In ordinary romance stories, the female lead is born poor, studies hard, and wants to fight for first place.”
“Lulu is the female lead of her own life.” Ning Wu was proud of Xiao Jialu. When mentioning his wife, his tone softened.
“And then the male lead is a rich young master who is cold on the outside but warm on the inside, and always ranks first in exams.” The more Meng Weiyu spoke, the more interested he became. “Then, while the female lead chases after the male lead again and again, the two fall in love.”
Ning Wu instantly understood his meaning and said through gritted teeth, “If you don’t want your husband, I still want my wife. Stop your fantasies immediately.”
“That’s not what I mean.” Meng Weiyu did not mean that. “I’m just curious. No matter how you look at the two people outside, they seem more like the type to be kindred spirits. You could say they’re successful person number one and successful person number two. Why would they take interest in us two? Respectively, useless rich-family child number one and useless rich-family child number two.”
Ning Wu was shocked and involuntarily fell into thought.
“Xiao Jialu is going to grill steak. How cooked do you want yours?” Shen Zhoudu opened the glass door and poked his head in from outside, interrupting their strange conversation.
“I want mine a little rare.” Meng Weiyu raised a finger, cheerful and completely unconcerned with his own nonsense.
“I want mine more cooked.” Ning Wu’s preference was different from his.
“Then we’ll cut it into two portions.” Shen Zhoudu proposed a solution.
Meng Weiyu and Ning Wu nodded in tacit understanding.
Shen Zhoudu looked at the two of them, paused, then decided to close the glass door and go pass their opinions to Xiao Jialu.
Xiao Jialu’s voice suddenly became loud enough to pass through the door. “Make the people inside roll out and help!”
Ning Wu rolled out with efficient movements.
Meng Weiyu remained unmoved and raised the iced lemon water in his hand with a smile.
With someone taking over, Shen Zhoudu found an opportunity to enter the air-conditioned house and rest for a moment.
“Whew.” He was nearly dying from the heat. Helplessly, he looked at the young master inside. “Is there any lemon water left?”
“You can ask Uncle Wang to pour some for you.” Meng Weiyu smiled as he stirred the ice with his straw.
Expressionless, Shen Zhoudu strode over. Before Meng Weiyu could send the lemon water into his own mouth, Shen Zhoudu reached out first, held the cup, bit the straw, and drank the ice water.
Meng Weiyu’s eyes lowered, looking at Shen Zhoudu drinking water.
There was nothing especially worth looking at, yet for some reason, he could not look away.
In the end, the four of them still grilled meat outside together. Ning Wu and Meng Weiyu did things within their ability.
After a short while, they could first taste a bite of the cooked meat.
“Sprinkle that sauce. Sprinkle more.” Meng Weiyu offered an opinion.
“I want lemon juice.” After tasting, Ning Wu made an improvement suggestion.
The other two people, one handing over sauce and the other handing over lemon juice, clearly no longer had any temper left.
Ning Wu dipped the meat in lemon juice and cheerfully held it to Xiao Jialu’s mouth, happily telling her, “It’s definitely a flavor you like.”
Xiao Jialu looked at his silly face and obediently opened her mouth.
Meng Weiyu looked on and discovered that these two actually truly liked each other.
“Do you want sauce?” Shen Zhoudu stood to the side and, according to Meng Weiyu’s preferences, added a lethal amount of seasoning.
“Shen Zhoudu,” Meng Weiyu called him.
“Hm?” Shen Zhoudu responded.
“Would you like someone a little smarter?” Meng Weiyu was curious.
Shen Zhoudu looked at him, nodded, and then added, “So I like you very much.”
“…You’re deliberately coaxing me, aren’t you?” Meng Weiyu could sense his glib tongue.
“Haha.”
“Would you like someone who ranks second, third, or fourth in exams?” Because Shen Zhoudu was first place, for someone to count as a little smart in his eyes, they would at least need to be at that level.
“Sixtieth place is fine.” Shen Zhoudu stuffed a small tomato into his mouth and narrowed his eyes with a smile.
“I was fiftieth,” Meng Weiyu reminded him.
“…Oh.”
